Dorchester Bowls Club is a premier bowls club in Dorset and has a reputation for giving a warm and friendly welcome to all visitors as well as past and present members.
It is located at the Sandringham Sports Centre off Armada Way in Dorchester, only eight miles from Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.
The Club offers six indoor rinks and an outside green which can accommodate up to eight rinks.
Indoor rinks are available for use all year around.
The outdoor playing season is from Mid-April to Mid-September, but is weather dependant.
The Club is open from 09:00 – 21:00 each day
The BowlR™ rink management system is used by members to book rinks for Roll-up’s and Competitions from their Internet connected devices, with near real time rink availability being visible from home, which removes the need to travel to the club.
Bowling sessions are 2 hours, which can be extended for Singles Competitions.
