At the DBC AGM on 21 March 2024, it was announced that the Club would be launching the BowlR online booking and Club management system on the 5th April 2024, for Outdoor bowling.
The Indoor system will ‘go live’ on the 19th April.
To book Rinks members will access the system using an ID and a password.
There are a number of methods to do this.
- Away from the Club using a home computer or tablet.
- By Mobile phone – but it has to be noted that the screens are small.
- By using the ‘Touch Screens’ inside the Club.
- By calling the Office when it is open.
As you will quickly find out there is not a lot that the general user can do, other than book rinks and so forth.
There is a fairly comprehensive ‘Help’ system available from the menu item Online booking guide.
Once we are up and running properly then League results will be recorded and league tables visible to all.
Bearing in mind that this system is in use by more than 150 clubs across the UK we are not pioneers!
