Great news in the Area Final of the National 4 Wood Singles, Jamie Watkiss beat Dan Winmill (Ilminster) at Yeovil BC on Monday 2 March 2026 21-9. Jamie will now play Tim Stone (Acle Marsh Harriers IBC) at the National Finals on Wednesday 1 April 2026 at 13:00.
On Sunday 22 February 2026 the final games in the Jurassic Area of the Wessex League took place with mixed results.
Dorchester A beat Moonfleet 15-1 and Dorchester B lost to Ilminster 0-16.
On Sunday 15 February 2026 it was another successful outing for County Mixed League team.
Travelling away to Bridport and coming away with all 8 points winning 46 – 23

On Sunday 1 February 2026 in the Wessex League Dorchester A came through a tough match against Ilminster to secure a 14-2 win. The win moved Dorchester A to the top of the Jurassic group. For league table see the link.

Huge congratulations to Martin Puckett after winning the Open Singles Grand Final last weekend.
He has started his campaign for this season by winning the Open Singles competition held at Westlecott.
In the Under 25 singles James Roe beat Thomas Gilley from Dolphin 2-0 in sets.
This sets up an all Dorchester clash with Nathan Wood which takes place on the 8th December at 18.30.

During the day spectators were entertained by some quality bowls culminating with Martin Puckett and Mike Gale beating Ryan Nash and Nick Voss 5-3, 5-3 in the Final.
